1. Sugar and refined carbohydrates

Food that is high in refined carbohydrates such as cereal, white bread, white rice, white pasta, soda, and other sugary products can increase the risk of developing acne. It is thought that could be because carbohydrates can have an effect on how our hormones work.

2. Dairy products

3. Greasy fast foods

Fast foods such as hot dogs, burgers, and milkshakes could all contribute to the development of acne. Although the reasons for this link require more investigation. If you are looking to improve your overall health and the appearance of your skin, however, swapping your cheeseburger for a fresh and healthy salad is a very good idea.

4. Chocolate

Chocolate has long been suspected as a potential acne trigger. Recent research suggests that this could be because chocolate boosts the immune system’s reaction to acne-causing bacteria. If you can’t quite bring yourself to totally eliminate your chocolate fix. Try limiting yourself to a bar a week and observe whether there are any changes.
